Catnip Compiler is a browser-based Python practice tool. This page describes the current version of the site. We will update it before adding advertising or other services that change how visitor information is used.

Your code and input

Python code and program input are processed in your browser. Catnip Compiler does not currently offer user accounts or store your programs on its own server. The Share button creates a link containing your code. Anyone who receives that link can read the code, so do not share passwords or private information in a program.

Services and browser storage

The site loads the Python runtime from the jsDelivr CDN. Visiting the site and loading that runtime can expose technical request information, such as your IP address and browser details, to the hosting provider and CDN under their own policies. We use your browser's local storage to remember your light or dark theme choice. We do not currently place AdSense ads or use advertising cookies on this site.

Contact

If you use an email link to contact us, your email provider and the recipient's email provider handle that message. The contact address is contact@catnipcompiler.com; delivery will be available once domain email forwarding is configured.

Advertising changes

If ads are added later, this notice will be updated to explain the advertising vendors and cookies or similar technologies involved, and any required privacy choices will be offered before ads are enabled.
